For many years she served the students and parents of Massillon Christian well as a teacher, advisor, coach and friend.  Now, after 30 years, one more job title will be added to this list of credits - Principal.

On July 19, 2009, Pastor Thayer announced after the Sunday morning worship service at the Massillon Baptist Temple that Mrs. Rebecca Hartline would be the next principal of Massillon Christian School.

As part of the selection criteria for principal, Pastor Thayer said they were looking for someone who would have a passion and love for the school and its students.  I am sure that all who know her would agree that this is true of Mrs. Hartline.  She has shown this passion not only in the class room but in other activities such as coaching basketball and being advisor to the National Honor Society not to mention managing the annual walk-a-thon fund raiser.
