Through our fundraising efforts, in 2023 we were able to support the OOA by purchasing new tables for the entire Medina Center food/event hall, new chairs for the Brunswick Center, four months of meals for seniors in Wadsworth before Soprema café re-opened, iPad – POS system and printer for Soprema Café, driver supplies, payment for all seniors to get free admission into Senior Day, give-away bandanas for senior day, food for the annual Luau, food for Noon Years Eve celebration, hall rental for Oktoberfest, breakfast for when the OOA hosts senior net (this year we hosted at WRMC due to construction), purchase of convection ovens for the Salvation Army so we could have hot meals during a major kitchen renovation, purchase of commercial fans for center, purchase of PR videos to utilize on social media, purchase of ALDI gift cards for seniors who received Farmerʼs Market Vouchers, regular advertising in both Brunswick and Medina newsletters.
